Vertical Vendors: Leading the Way with Sustainable Packaging

At Vertical Vendors, we're not just passionate about innovative merchandising solutions; we're also deeply committed to protecting the environment. That's why we're excited to announce that all our packaging is now fully recyclable, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable practices.

Our commitment to sustainability is evident in the materials we use. Our award-winning display units are constructed from steel, one of the most recycled materials globally. The card inserts used for branding are also 100% recyclable at the end of their life. The units themselves are made from recyclable sheet metal, and the internal systems incorporate injection-moulded parts made from recycled plastics. This approach ensures that nothing is added to landfill, contributing to a long-term saving on our CO2 footprint.

Circular Design Thinking

We've implemented a circular design thinking process, ensuring our units are designed for re-use and recyclability. They are easily re-branded and re-stocked, which saves on print materials and time. At the end of their life, the units are subject to re-use, refurbishment, and recycling, further decreasing material usage and increasing waste recycling rates.

Our new recyclable packaging includes a double wall box, 15mm honeycomb board, and 40mm top and bottom honeycomb board, all designed to protect the units during transit while being environmentally conscious. We also use fully compostable and recyclable bags. This allows us to proudly label all our packaging as recyclable and reusable.

We've also partnered with Carbon Quota to measure and verify our carbon footprint externally. Their team of scientists analyses every aspect of our carbon output annually, certifying the progress we're making towards reducing our environmental impact. We have a carbon reduction plan in place for the coming year and beyond, and the carbon footprint of each Vertical Vendor unit has been externally verified.

By choosing Vertical Vendors, you're not only getting a proven solution to drive sales uplift and improve in-store efficiency, but you're also partnering with a company that prioritises sustainability and works to reduce its impact on the environment. Join our movement of sustainable, innovative merchandising.
